Discover, Build & Imagine: A Robotics Winter Camp in Tokyo

Winter holidays are the perfect time for children to slow down, explore new interests, and try experiences they don’t get in school. That’s why Mirai Mind’s EdRobot Winter Camp in Tokyo 2025 is designed to be a space where kids aged 6–11 can experiment with technology, express their creativity, and, ultimately, build confidence through hands-on robotics and coding.

Instead of passive screen time, your child gets a chance to take control of technology — guiding, programming, and shaping it through fun challenges using Edison V3 robots and the EdScratch coding platform. Whether they already love STEM or are completely new to it, our camp offers an environment where curiosity leads the way.

The EdRobot Experience: Why It Matters

Every activity in the camp is built around one belief:
Children learn best when they feel excited, supported, and free to explore.

Here’s how the EdRobot Winter Camp in Tokyo helps your child grow in meaningful, lasting ways:

Confidence to Try, Learn & Lead

Watching a robot follow their instructions is a moment of pure pride for kids. Throughout the camp, they take small risks, solve problems independently, and realise that they can create something that works. This sense of achievement builds real confidence — the kind that shows up in school, friendships, and other activities.

A Natural Introduction to Coding

Coding might sound complex, but at EdRobot it feels like a playful puzzle. Children learn how to break tasks into steps, think logically, test their ideas, and debug with patience. These skills form the foundation of computational thinking, which is becoming essential in almost every future career.

Creativity at the Heart of STEM

Robotics isn’t only wires and logic — it’s imagination. In fact, kids name their robots, design mini-projects, add playful twists to challenges, and bring personal ideas into their work. This winter camp in Tokyo encourages them to see technology as something they can shape creatively, not just use.

Collaboration & Communication

From brainstorming sessions to friendly competitions, children learn how to work together, share ideas, and listen to others’ perspectives. They also get the chance to present their projects, helping them build clarity, confidence, and communication skills in English.

A Gentle, Supportive Environment

With a 1:10 facilitator-to-student ratio, our mentors ensure each child feels heard, guided, and encouraged. The bilingual setting helps children become more comfortable responding, understanding instructions, and interacting naturally in English — all without pressure or tests.

A Healthy Break from Academic Routine

The camp blends hands-on STEM time with outdoor moments, playful activities, and creative movement. As a result, children return home happy, energised, and more curious about the world around them.
