Forest School

Nature-led outdoor sessions where children explore, investigate, take age-appropriate risks and learn through purposeful play. Activities follow the environment, the weather and the children's own discoveries.

What your child will learn

Every term is mapped to clear, confidence-building milestones, in groups small enough that each child is seen.

Sample activities

  • Den Builders

    Teams build a shelter from branches and tarps, then test if it keeps them dry.

  • Minibeast Hunt

    Search under logs and leaves, then identify finds with a magnifier.

  • Mud Kitchen

    Mixing, pouring and 'cooking' with soil, water and leaves.

  • Nature Art

    Patterns and pictures made from leaves, sticks and stones.

Clothes that can get muddy, sturdy shoes and a change of clothes. We go out in most weather and only cancel for unsafe conditions.
