Puppetry & Storytelling

A creative English class where young children make simple puppets and bring stories to life. Through familiar tales, songs and puppet play, they build vocabulary, take turns and grow confident speaking in English.

Sample activities

  • Sock Puppet Friends

    Make a sock puppet, give it a name and introduce it.

  • Shadow Stories

    Use paper shadow puppets to tell a story with a torch.

  • Finger Puppet Retell

    Retell a traditional tale with finger puppets.

  • Puppet Feelings

    Puppets show happy, sad or surprised, and children name the feeling.

Levels

  • Little Listeners ages 2–3 Listening, gestures and first words.
  • Little Tellers ages 4–5 Short phrases and retelling simple stories.
  • Grouped by age and confidence after the trial lesson.
